The Zamfara State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, has deployed six hundred personnel to provide security and safety to residents across the state during the Eid- El – fitri celebration.
The State Commandant of the Corps, Muhammad Muazu in a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, charged the officers and men deployed for the Eid-el Fitri celebration to work within the operational order and the Acts of the Corps.
Muazu ordered that all nooks and crannies, including bus stations and motor parks, must be manned effectively, during and after the celebrations.
He directed, the Critical Infrastructures and National Assets Department, and the Anti Vandal Unit of the Corps, to ensure thorough surveillance of all critical infrastructures and national assets, to forestall any form of sabotage during the celebrations.
He sent a strong message to hoodlums and miscreants who intend to brew any form of rancor or sabotage during the period, to relocate from the state, as the corps will not spare anyone found culpable.
