American superstar rapper, Actor, Record Producer, and Businessman, Curtis James Jackson 111, known by the stage name of 50 Cent has hinted that he is set to make a drama series on the life and crimes of notorious Nigerian social media celebrity and fraudster Ramon Abbas otherwise known as Hushpuppi.
The CEO of the G-Unit record Label announced this on Instagram to his 28 million followers.
The disgraced Instagram influencer, Abbas known for his show-off of exotic cars and living in lounges across 5-star hotels, was jailed for more than 11 years by a US court last week for committing money laundering and fraud activities on a global scale.
He was ordered to pay more than $1.7 million in restitution to two of his fraud victims.
50 Cent posted on his verified Instagram handle with the caption:
For my scammers, I gotta do this one, Hushpuppy (sic) series coming soon.
It is not clear if 50 Cent intends to play the lead role of ‘Hushppupi’ in the TV series, but the music mogul turned actor has taken up lead roles in famous TV series and movies that made it big at the box office.
Recall, Abbas, 40, was arrested in Dubai in June 2020 when police raided the five-star Versace hotel residence where he lived. He was extradited to the US.
Abbas had since admitted to attempting to steal more than $1.1m from a person who wanted to fund a new school in Qatar.
He further admitted to “several other cyber and business email compromise schemes that cumulatively caused more than $24 million in losses”, the US Justice Department said.
