AHEAD 2023 : PDP NORTH EAST CHALLENGED TO RESIST ZONING SCHEME

In preparation against the 2023 general elections, Nigerians in the northeast have been challenged to resist any scheme that will force a candidate on them using zoning tactics, stressing that the region must be given the opportunity to produce the next president come 2023. This is coming from the Members technical committee for Atiku Abubakar headed by High Chief Raymond Dokepesi who were at the Government House Yola Adamawa state.

The technical committee for Atiku Abubakar headed by high chief Raymond Dokepesi is on a nationwide consultative tour to seek advice from stakeholders of the PDP for the candidacy of Atiku Abubakar come 2023.

The chairman of the delegation who accused the All Progressives Congress of rigging the 2019 general elections, called on Nigerians to join hands and resist any form of electoral malpractice come 2023.

The state deputy governor Crowther Seth and the chairman of the PDP in the state Tahir Shehu said the resounding reception given the delegation is evident that the ancestral home of the former vice president Atiku Abubakar is in support of his candidacy.

The event which was held at the Government House Yola was attended by the state deputy governor Crowther Seth, Senator representing Adamawa South, Binos Dauda Yaroe, Speaker State house of Assembly, state legislators, government officials and state party leaders.
