BANDITS FORCE ABOUT 2000 PERSONS INTO REFUGEE CAMPS IN NIGER STATE.

Gunmen have forced more than one thousand, six hundred persons to seek refuge at some selected camps in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.
The Chairman of Shiroro Local Government Area, Sulaiman Chukuba, disclosed this in an interview with newsmen.
Sulaiman Chukuba explained that the victims had to leave their ancestral homes due to persistent attacks on their communities.
The Chairman added that more than five hundred persons are taking shelter at the Internally Displaced Persons Camp in Kuta, while more than one thousand of them are in Gwada Camp.
The Chairman appreciated the role security agencies are playing, to overcome the security challenges in Shiroro Local Government and the different parts of the state.
