BANDITS KILL ONE, ABDUCT TWO IN KATSINA

Suspected bandits have again launched another attack on Jargaba village of Bakori Area Council of Katsina State, killing one person while two others were abducted.

According to a source who spoke on the condition of anonymity said, the attack occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, March 18 at about 1 am.

The source added that the deceased, Ibrahim Kwatahi, is a businessman, while his two children, a male and a female were abducted after the attack.

He added that the bandits who entered the town on foot.

They also carted away huge sums of money from the deceased’s house.

The source further said that the vigilante group in the area that trailed the assailants, reported that the bandits moved the abducted children towards the neighbouring forest, in the Faskari Area Council.

When contacted for comments, a Police spokesman in Katsina State, Gambo Isah, said he will reach out to the Divisional Police Officer of the area for confirmation.
