Bauchi governor innaugurates 24 new Commissioners, assigns portfolios.

Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed has called on the newly appointed commissioners to promote transparency and accountability in the discharge of their statutory responsibility.
The governor made the call during the swearing-in of the newly appointed twenty four commissioners held at the government house Bauchi state North East Nigeria.
Congratulating the newly appointed commissioners, governor Bala charged them not to use their offices to enrich themselves or persue their political interests rather to compliment the developmental agenda of his administration.
While calling on them to run an open door policy, he further urged them to work in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders inorder to succeed in the tasks ahead.
Speaking on behalf of the newly Innaugurated council members, the Commissioner of Budget, Economic planning and multilateral coordination Aminu Hammayo assured their absolute loyalty and support to the Government.
During the swearing-in ceremony, governor Bala Mohammed established three new ministries to include, Higher education, Humanitarian affairs and disaster management as well as security and internal affairs.
