Buhari seeks Senate’s confirmation of six commissioners of RMAFC

The Senate has received President Muhammadu Buhari’s request to confirm Six nominees for appointment as commissioners for the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
The request is contained in a letter read by president of the President, Ahmad Lawan, during plenary
According to president Buhari, the nomination is in accordance with provisions of section 154 sub section 1 of the 1999 of the constitution as Amended
The six federal commissioners for revenue mobilization allocation and fiscal commission to fill the existing vacancies in the respective states includes:
- Senator Ayogu Eze (Enugu State Federal Commissioner)
- Peter Opara (Imo State Federal Commissioner)
- Hawa Umaru Aliyu Jigawa State Federal Commissioner
- Rekiya Tankor Haruna Kebbi State Federal Commissioner
- Ismaila Mohamed Agaka (Kwara State Federal Commissioner)
- Kolawole Daniel Abimbola (Oyo State Federal Commissioner).
