CARPENTER BEATS APPRENTICE TO DEATH.

The Delta state police command has confirmed the death of a teenage boy who was reportedly beaten by his master for coming late to work at Ogorode, Sapele local government area.
The police public relations officer, Bright Edafe said homicide detectives attached to the criminal investigation department are currently on the trail of the suspect, Orunor, who has since been on the run.
He was alleged to have beaten his apprentice, a teenager, identified as Onome to death for coming late to work.
The carpenter’s action has sparked outrage from the late apprentice family and the neighborhood.
Meanwhile, the state police command has assured it would ensure justice for the death of late Onome.
