COVID-19 FG TO REVIVE STRUGGLING AND COLLAPSED BUSINESSES.

The Federal Government has said it is working on a guaranteed takeoff scheme to support Micro and Small scale businesses that were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Director-General, Industrial Training Fund, (ITF), Joseph Ari, said this in Bauchi, during a town hall meeting with the beneficiaries.
The Survival Fund and the Guaranteed Takeoff Scheme are Federal Government programs, according to Joseph Ari, under the Economic Sustainability Plan.
The programs are to stimulate the economy after the lockdown, for Small and Medium-scale business owners in Nigeria.
Under the schemes, women are to be given 45% and 5% for people with Special needs.
Joseph Ari said it is also designed to support 100,000, SMEs with a one-off N50,000 grant.
Under the program, over 2000 MSMEs in Bauchi State 2,195 benefited from the product after receiving mobilization from the Federal Government.
