Cross River Governorship Tribunal: Chairman Rules On Deadline Of Application Process

The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Cross River State has ruled that every process needed to be filed by lawyers, including the right of reply must be done before the 19th of June, 2023.
Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Oken Inneh gave the judgement after applications by both parties involved on the case at the court 8, Moore road, Calabar venue of the sitting.
The Chairman also said application filed with written addresses in excess of the permissible limit should be reduced for smooth take off of the matter before the Tribunal.
Defense Counsel, Mike Ozekhome and Counsel to the Petitioners Joshua Musa said the position of the judge was inline with what they requested for the tribunal to meet up the stipulated date inline with the 2022 Electoral Laws.
Hearing Continues on the 19th of June 2023, when all the applications by the lawyers would have been concluded.
