FEDERAL GOVT. PROJECTS IN NASARAWA STATE TO BE COMPLETED SOON-FASHOLA

The Federal Government says the major Federal government roads and other projects sited in Nasarawa State will soon be completed.

The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola said this while on an assessment tour of some major federal government projects located in Nasarawa state.

This will come as a relief for the residents in Toto and Nasarawa local government areas, who have suffered from the effect of bad roads and at some point cut off from other parts of the state during raining season

Fashola announced that the Loko- Oweto major bridge which links Nasarawa and Benue state has been completed, with the remaining 74 kilometer portion approved and reallocated for completion by the federal government.

On the 221km dualization road projects between Abuja and Makurdi, Fashola also said progress has been made to resolve the issues of compensation for locals.

Governor Abdullahi Sule thanked the minister for the visit and the Federal government projects which will impact positively on his people.

He also made an appeal on areas that still need attention to enable easy accessibility for the people.

Federal housing projects, the Federal Secretariat, and other federal government projects sited in the state were also inspected by the minister.
