Fg to upgrade osogbo power control centre

The minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu has promised an upgrade of the National Control Centre in Osun state with modern technology.
The minister said it is to enable the centre conform with global best standards.
Adelabu who stated this during his visit to the Control Centre in Osogbo also promised stability of the National grid going forward.
Accompanied by the Managing Director of the Transmission Company of Nigeria and other top management staff of the company, the minister noted that the visit was imperative due to the importance of the Control Centre, established about forty years ago to enhance the supply in the electricity value chain
The minister further warned against negligence on the part of personnel, act of sabotage and vandalization of National assets as experienced during the recent two day warning strike by the labour unions.
