Fire Outbreak at Ladipo Plank Market Amukoko

There has been a fire outbreak at the Ladipo Plank Market in Lagos. Emergency responders in Lagos as at 6AM were still combating the inferno that gutted Ladipo plank market in the Orile area of the state.
This was confirmed in a statement by the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, Femi Oke-Osanyitolu.
He said fortunately, there is no loss of life, however, goods and properties estimated to be in their millions have been destroyed by the unfortunate incident.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained, but the fire was said to have started around 12:30am today, in the main market.
Osanyitolu confirmed that efforts will continue in collaboration with other emergency responders to bring the fire under control.
