FLOOD IN IMO: NDDC DONATES RELIEF MATERIALS TO STATE GOVERNMENT.

The Imo state government has commended the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC for donating Relief Materials for flood-ravaged communities in Imo state.

Governor Hope Uzodinma who received the relief materials at the NDDC state office in Owerri says the gesture will go a long way to alleviate the pains of those affected by the ravaging flood.

The donation of relief materials to the Imo state government was another measure taken by the NDDC to alleviate the pains of those affected by the ravaging flood.

Governor Hope Uzodinma who was represented by the commissioner of Niger Delta affairs Henry Okafor commended the NDDC for the assistance.

The chairmen of the affected local government areas promised to ensure equitable distribution of the relief items.

Some of the Items donated include bags of rice, bags of beans, garri, noodles, and mattresses.
