Former President Donald Trump will appear in federal court in Miami this Tuesday where he’ll face 37 criminal charges related to his handling of classified documents at his Florida Mar-a-Lago resort.
In an unprecedented indictment of a former president, Trump faces 37 federal charges, including unlawfully retaining government secrets and conspiring to obstruct justice.
Trump, the first former US president to face federal charges, is expected to be taken into custody and placed under arrest before he’s arraigned.
This is coming months after Trump was charged by a Manhattan grand jury in a separate hush-money case.
Trump, who is still very willing to pursue his 2024 Presidential ambition has continued to deny the charges against him.
He’s expected to speak Tuesday evening once he returns to his Bedminster, New Jersey, resort.
