Former President of the United States of America, Donald Trump lost his first wife, Ivana Trump at 73.

Ivana Trump was the mother of three of the former Presiden’s children, namely Donald Jr, Ivanka, and Eric Trump.

Mrs. Trump was found unconscious on a staircase in her East 64th Street home near Central Park after police received an emergency call at 12:40 p.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to two law enforcement officials with knowledge of the event. New York police detectives began an investigation but found no sign of forced entry or obvious sign of trauma suggesting criminality.

A statement from Trump’s family says she died at her home in New York after suffering cardiac arrest. The former president announced her death in a post on Truth Social, the social media outlet he launched.

She is a Czech Republic immigrant who got married to the former President in 1977. They became divorced 15 years later in 1992. Ivana had been a competitive skier in her native Czechoslovakia(now defunct) and later became a model in Canada and New York.

The pair were notable public figures in New York in the 1980s and 1990s, and their split was the subject of intense public scrutiny and interest at the time.
