Gary Neville has described Chelsea’s performance against their London rival ‘disgraceful’ after they were beaten 3:1 in their London Derby on Tuesday night.
While speaking with Skysports, Neville claimed that their performance was ‘pathetic’ and went on to blame the Blues owner Todd Boehly for the shambolic showing that has become a common feature for the West London football giant.
The Manchester United legend and former Manager at Spanish Football team Valencia CF blamed owner Todd Boehly for the club’s “nightmare” season, saying he must “stop meddling”.
Chelsea were three down in 34 minutes on Tuesday night at the Emirates, with their 3-1 defeat their sixth loss in a row across all competitions under the new interim boss, Frank Lampard and leaves them 12th in the Premier League table.
At the end of a season which has seen the club break transfer spending records but sack Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter, Neville says the application from the players hasn’t been good enough but it is Boehly who must take the blame.
