GOV UDOM SWEARS IN CHIEF JUDGE, WANTS CLOSER COLLABORATION WITH JUDICIARY

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, has reaffirmed his commitment to partnering with the judiciary to ensure the rule of law is upheld in the state.

Governor Emmanuel said this in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital at the swearing-in of Justice Ekaette Obot as the substantive chief judge of the state.

With the oath of allegiance and office, Honourable Justice Ekaette Obot is confirmed as the substantive chief judge of Akwa Ibom state.

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel expressed appreciation to the judiciary for its collaboration with his administration but called for more.

Governor Emmanuel assured that his administration will leave no stone unturned to ensure it performed its duties efficiently.

Justice Ekaette Obot becomes the 8th Chief Judge of the state and the 3rd female to hold the office.
