GOVERNOR SULE RAISES ALARM ON PRESENCE OF BOKO HARAM IN NASARAWA STATE

Boko Haram members and bandits are regrouping in some local government areas in Nassarawa state.
The state governor Abdullahi Sule who again raised the alarm during a security meeting with key players and security agencies in Lafia listed the local councils as: Nasarawa , Wamba , Awe, Doma and Karu.
The governor said apart from the regrouping of Boko Haram members and bandits in the state, he is also worried about the influx of unknown Fulani herdsmen in the state who are coming in from Ondo and other south west states.
He added that security personnel in the state have been deployed while the federal government is also assisting to comb various locations in the 5 local government areas for surveillance and protection of lives and property.
