The record of Nigerian Chef, Hilda Bassey Effiong popularly known as Hilda Baci as the Guinness World Records Title holder of the longest cooking time by an individual has been broken by an Irish Restaurateur Alan Fisher in Japan.
Fisher broke the longest cooking marathon record by an individual after cooking nonstop in a time of 119 Hours 57 minutes.
The Guinness World Records took to its “X” account to announce Fisher’s record on Tuesday, November 7th 2023.
Nigerian cooking queen , Hilda Baci has been dethroned, Alan Fisher from Ireland cooked for an incredible 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan.
Fisher also broke the record for the longest baking marathon; baking 47 hours and 21 minutes to beat the previous record of 31 hours and 16 minutes.
