Three policemen have been killed and a fourth declared missing At least One Policeman has been reported unaccounted for after gunmen opened fire on their moving patrol van in Enugu
The attack happened on Wednesday night at the popular Block Bus Stop on the usually lively Chime Avenue of New Haven in the Enugu metropolis
Eyewitnesses told Raypower that the gunmen who operated in a Lexus SUV suddenly opened fire on the moving police patrol van, killing three policemen on the spot.
Enugu State Police Command spokesman, Daniel Ndukwe who confirmed the attack said an intensive manhunt is ongoing to track down the attackers.
