JOINT HEALH SECTOR UNIONS(JOHESU) ASK HEALTH WORKERS TO RETURN TO WORK.

The Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU) and the Assembly of Healthcare Professional Associations have suspended their seven day nationwide warning strike.

A statement by JOHESU National Chairman, Biobelemoye Josiah said all health workers under the five Unions that make up  JOHESU and Assembly of Healthcare Professional Associations across all Federal Health Institutions in the country should return to work today 21st of September 2020.

The statement however noted that since the Federal Government refused to address the demands of health workers as presented by JOHESU within the seven days of the warning strike, the next line of action will be decided in due course by the expanded National Executive Council of the Union.
