Hisbah officials in Kano have seized a truck, conveying 3,600 bottles of Heineken beer in bags of animal feed.
Unverified sources said the driver of the truck was travelling from Kwanar Dangora to Kiru town in Kano.
In a video that went viral, the Commander-General of the Board, Harun Ibn-Sina, was seen with some other members of the board uncovering the camouflage, as they recovered some crates piled behind the bags of the feeds.
The Public Relations Officer of the board, Lawan Ibrahim-Fagge, could not be reached for official confirmation.
Hisbah Corps, an Islamic Police, responsible for the enforcement of Sharia and sanity in the state, has over the years, seized and confiscated trucks carrying beer.
