Governor Bello, who declared the training open at Government House Lokoja, wants said participants must make judicious use of the opportunity to be part of the solution to the perennial flood problem confronting parts of the state.
Flooded homes, destroyed Farm lands and livelihoods are what residents of flood prone communities- experience every year.
There was no mechanism to plan for victims of flood until the establishment of Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission.
