KWARA STATE FIRE SERVICE RESCUES TRAIN FROM FIRE.

Unknown persons have reportedly set fire on a train at Offa Railway Station, in the Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State.

In a press statement by the Head of Media and Publicity of the Kwara State Fire Service, Hassan Adekunle, the incident occurred at Offa Railway Station in Offa, Kwara State.

He said two coaches out of the 15 were affected but quickly put out by the efforts of the firemen.

No life was lost in the incident.

The Director, Kwara State Fire Service, Falade Olumuyiwa, has urged the general public not to hesitate to call the fire brigade on time, whenever there is any fire emergency in their vicinity, as it would save lives and properties of people in the state.
