LAGOS PDP SUSPENDS PARTY PRESIDENT AND VICE

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Lagos State has suspended its chairman, Phillip Aivoji and his deputy, Benedict Tai over violation of the party constitution.
Their suspension by their ward executives has been ratified by the state working committee.
The two officials are to remain suspended pending the outcome of a court case instituted against them.
PDP spokesman in the state, Hakeem Amode who made this known in a statement said the party’s Vice Chairman in Lagos West Senatorial District, Sunday Olaifa is now the acting chairman of the party in Lagos.
