Lagos socialite music promoter Samson Balogun Eletu also known as Sam Larry and Nigerian singer songwriter Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley have regained freedom from police custody after meeting their bail conditions.
The embattled duo who had been cooling off at the state police command Ikeja were set free Friday evening, November 17th 2023.

On Monday November 6th, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun had granted Naira Marley and Sam Larry bail in the sum of twenty million naira each with three responsible sureties.
The Magistrate asked that the defendants report weekly to the State Criminal Investigation Department Panti, Yaba as well submit their passports.
Sam Larry and Naira Marley were arrested by the police and arraigned before the court over allegations of assault of Naira Marley’s protege “MOHBAD IMOLE” who died in a controversial circumstance on Tuesday September 12th 2023.
