Mother, daughter regains freedom from terrorists’ captivity in Zamfara.

A Staff of the Damba General Hospital, Aisha Suleiman and her 12-year-old daughter, Khadija Mahmood Ammani who were abducted one month ago by suspected terrorists in the Damba Area of Gusau in Zamfara State have regained their freedom.
Aisha’s husband, Salisu Isah confirmed the release of the two victims saying they were freed after a payment of an undisclosed amount of money as ransom after four weeks in captivity.
Isah blamed government’s failure to take the war to the doorstep of the suspect terrorists for the escalation of the abduction of innocent citizens for ransom.
He called on governments to intensify efforts in the fight against banditry and bring an end to the incessant abduction in Zamfara State.
