NECO reschedules 2023 national entrance examination

The National Examinations Council, NECO has rescheduled the 2023 entrance examination from Saturday May 13 2023 to Saturday June 10, 2023.
NECO spokesman, Azeez Sani says the Examination was rescheduled to enable more candidates register for the examination following requests by some parents and sponsors for an extension.
The examination body also notes that the extension will give more opportunities for indigent children in Nigeria to gain access into the federal government’s academy for the gifted and talented.
It also states that the Federal Government Academy is a training ground for moulding and provision of enormous opportunities for outstanding gifted students to develop their potentials in the interest of nation building and technological development.
According to Azeez, the Students of the academy also benefit from Federal Government scholarship such as tuition fees, external examination fees, boarding, feeding, uniform and basic textbooks
