Niger Bandits; Governor Bago considers dialogue

Niger state governor, Mohammed Bago says efforts are on by his government to dialogue with armed bandits in the State.
The governor however says if the option does not work, the government will engage the Military to tackle the challenge.
Speaking with State house correspondents on Wednesday after a visit to President Bola Tinubu over the recent bandit attacks in the State, Governor Bago explained that his administration is not folding it’s arms over the security situation in the state.
He sought for more collaboration with Security agencies.
Niger State had recently been in focus following the reported death of some military men and the helicopter crash within the last few days.
