Nigerian Pop Singer Chris Mba Is Dead

Ace Nigerian funk-pop singer, Chris Mba who has been ill for some years due to heart-related disease is dead.
The death of the “Baby Don’t Cry” singer was confirmed by Record Label Executive and the General Manager of Premier Music, Michael Odiong.
The singer was said to have breathed his last on Wednesday evening May 3rd 2023 at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital(LUTH) Idi Araba.
In his lifetime Chris Mba who was known back in the 80s for his hit songs such as ‘Funky Situation’, ‘Baby Don’t Cry’, ‘Making My Way’, and ‘Love Everlasting’ among other singles was signed on to Premier Music.
In 2019 a financial assistance plea was made on behalf of the musician to take care of his health.
