NIMET Warns Against 3-Day Thunderstorm, Cloudiness In Nigeria.

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency NiMet weather forecast has revealed that there will be thunderstorms and cloudiness from Tuesday to Thursday across Nigeria, particularly in the northern part.
This was contained in NiMet’s weather outlook released in Abuja, saying a cloudy atmosphere should be expected on Tuesday with intervals of sunshine over the northern region of the country.
The govt agency said the thunderstorms will be over parts of Adamawa, Taraba, Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina, Kebbi and Kaduna states in the morning hours while isolated thunderstorms are expected over parts of Bauchi, Gombe, Adamawa, Taraba and Kaduna states.
The weather agency noted that Nasarawa, the Federal Capital Territory, Niger, Kwara, Kogi and Benue states will also experience the thunderstorms in the morning hours.
NiMet pointed out that cloudy skies on Wednesday with spells of sunshine over the northern region with prospects of thunderstorms over parts of Adamawa, Taraba and Gombe states in the morning hours.
States in the southern region are not excluded as NiMeT predicted that a cloudy atmosphere is expected over the inland and the coastal states with chances of thunderstorms over parts of Osun, Oyo, Ekiti, Ogun, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa and Cross River states in the morning hours.
The agency further anticipated thunderstorms over parts of Imo, Abia, Ekiti, Ebonyi, Ondo, Oyo, Anambra, Enugu, Edo, Delta, Lagos, Cross River, Rivers, Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom states later in the day.
