ONDP POLICE ARREST 3 SUSPECTED MURDERERS OF NAVAL OFFICER.

Less than a year after being commissioned as an officer following his passing- out from the Nigerian Defence Academy, a young naval officer, sub-Lieutenat, Samuel Akingbagbohun has been murdered in tragic circumstances at his place of first posting.
The Ondo State Police Command on Thursday paraded three men suspected of being behind the officer’s death in the Idoani Community in Ose Local Government area of Ondo state.
The deceased, Sub-lieutenant Akingbagbohun was serving at the Navy Secondary school located in the town.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO),Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya said the suspects were arrested in various locations within and outside the town.
The police spokesperson unveiled the identity of the suspects as Sambo Ayomide and Adeleke Johnson, who are both 20 years old and 17-year old Francis Shagari.
The suspects, upon questioning, gave their version of event which resulted in the killing and death of the Naval Officer.
The police command says three suspects are still at large but will be apprehended in due cause.
