Police arrest 17-year-old for killing phone dealer, arrest 72 suspected social miscreants, phone snatchers in Katsina

The police in Katsina say they have arrested a 17-year-old boy for allegedly killing a phone dealer in Katsina.
They have also raided hot spots, arresting 72 social miscreants popularly called, ‘Kaurayes’, as well as phone snatchers, following the riot act read to them by the command.
Police spokesman, Chief Superintendent Gambo Isah in a statement, said it is in the command’s total determination and unrelenting efforts, aimed at sanitizing the state from the nefarious activities of the men of the underworld.
Isah also added that the areas where the raids were carried out leading to the arrest of 72 social miscreants within the metropolis include: Sabuwar Unguwa, Gadar Nayalli, Modoji, Tudun YanLihida, Kwabren Dorawa, Janbango, Abbatuwa, Filin Canada, Lambun Dankwai, Kofar Marusa, Tsalawa and Chake among others.
