POLICE ARREST CULTIST in Lagos

Five suspected cultists operating in Ajegunle area of state have been arrested by the Lagos state police command for allegedly trying to forcefully initiate a victim.
The Lagos State Police Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, who disclosed this said the suspects were arrested by operatives from the Tolu Division of the command after receiving a distress call around about the forceful initiation taking place at a hotel in Ajegunle.
The victim has however been rescued and the suspects according to the police spokesperson will be arraigned after conclusion of investigation.
Cultism remains one of the major security threats to residents of Lagos and this incident has brought renewed calls from the commissioner of Police Lagos State, Idowu Owohunwa, for citizens to always alert the police of any action of cultism assuring them of quick Intervention by the command.
