Police nab suspect with Indian hemp worth over N600m in Kebbi.

The Police has arrested a suspect in possession of 9,833 parcels of dried leaves believed to be Indian hemp.
Similarly, they have recovered another container truck with 7,500 live cartridges along the Tsamiya Bagudo Border in Kebbi State.
The Police public relations officer for the Kebbi State Command, Nafiu Abu, the drug worth over 600 million naira was intercepted and recovered by a Police border patrol team.
During preliminary investigation, the suspects confessed to have been hired by yet-to-be-identified people to move the exhibits to Lagos State from the Republic of Ghana.
The Kebbi Police Command advised the communities to cooperate and furnish security agencies with timely and accurate information for prompt action.
