President Tinubu To Presents 2024 Budget in Two Weeks

The chairman senate committee on appropriation, Solomon Olamilekan has hinted that president Bola Tinubu will president the 2024 budget to National Assembly in the next two weeks.
Senator Olamilekan gave the hint during the inaugural meeting of the committee stating that the National Assembly will ensure that 2024 budget is passed before December 31, 2023.
The Chairman said the Executive will forward the 2024 Fiscal Strategy Paper and medium-term expenditure frame work FSP/MTEF to the National Assembly for consideration.
He added that the National Assembly will sustain the tradition of one year budget circle.
Olamilekan assured that the lawmakers will work assiduously to ensure that by December 31st, the President assents to the budget, so that from 1st of January, implementation of 2024 budget will commence.
