Nigeria’s first Private Radio Station, Raypower 100.5 FM, the Ultimate in Style Station has clocked 29 years of commercial broadcasting across the length and breadth of the nation.
The Radio Station which is virtually the first in everything broadcasting in Nigeria, began transmission of its signals around 1993 but would begin commercial broadcasting on September 1, 1994, becoming the first to do so in Nigeria.
Often referred to as the trailblazer in private broadcasting in Nigeria, the Radio station with the widest reach in the country marked this year’s anniversary with a funfair at the RAYPOWER FM studio in Lagos.
