Public and private schools in Enugu State reopened for academic activities today after six months of lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The students and pupils resumed in large numbers with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols. The school authorities in the state provided water, hand sanitizer and liquid soap for everyone. Students were wearing face masks in strict adherence NCDC guidelines. Supervisors from the state Ministry of Education went round schools in the state to monitor academic activities and ensure that COVID-19 protocols were being observed effectively.
