Ministerial nominee and current Secretary to Kaduna State Government, Balarabe Abbas Lawal has collapsed in the Senate during his screening for confirmation.
The Senate had convened today to screen the three new nominees by President Bola Tinubu.
The Senate immediately went into a closed-door session amid efforts to resuscitate the collapsed Ministerial nominee.
The Nigerian Senate confirmed on Tuesday that it received President Bola Tinubu’s request to screen and confirm an additional three Ministerial Nominees to serve in his cabinet.
The three nominees are Jamila Bio, Balarabe Abbas, and Olawale Olawande.
The president ‘s request is contained in a letter read during plenary by the President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio.
