American music mogul, rapper and record producer, Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. known on stage as Snoop Dogg has called out to one of Nigeria’s rising music star Temilade Openiyi known as Tems for a possible music collaboration.
In a viral video that trended online, Snoop Dogg declared his admiration for Tems while seeking to know when they would collaborate on a hit song. The 51 year-old said everyone in his household listens to her, while adding that they ought to have it happen as soon as possible.
Snoop asked :
So Tems, when are we going to make a record? You know I am a fan, let’s make a f**king hit record girl.
You have my whole family dancing to your sh*t, I need one with you.
Ever since her hit single ‘Try Me’ and her feature in ‘Essence’ with Wizkid, the artiste has collaborated with many A-Listers, including American rapper Drake and Future in ‘Wait For You’.
The singer and songwriter co-wrote ‘Lift Me Up’ by Rihanna and covered Bob Marley’s ‘No Woman, No Cry’ for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.
Tems has gone ahead to win 2 NAACP Image Awards, 2 BET Awards, 2 Soul Train Music Awards, the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, and many more prestigious awards and nominations.
