Southern Kaduna Killings: death toll in Warkan and Bafai Gida villages rises

The number of dead persons in the Warkan and Bafai Gida killings in Zango Kataf local government area of the Kaduna State has risen to eleven.
The figure was given by the village head of Warkan Habila Tabat after an assessment visit to the scenes of the attacks.
Terrorists recently attacked the two communities burning over fifty houses and destroyed property worth millions of naira.
This is the second time in less than three years that Warkan Village has come under attack.
Some Atyap community leaders alleged calling on the government over the years to come to their rescue but got no positive response.
Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-rufa’I last week set up a committee, aimed to come up with modalities to bring an end to the unabated killings in Southern Kaduna.
