Sudan Evacuation: First set of Nigerian Evacuees arrive Abuja.

The first set of Nigerians Fleeing from the conflict-hit in Sudan through Egypt have arrived the Nnamdi Azikwe international Airport, Abuja at 11:23pm Wednesday night.

The 376 evacuees arrived on board Airpeace craft and the Nigerian Airforce, NAF C-130H after being taken in a fleet of at least 13 buses hired from the border of Sudan and Egypt to where they were airlifted.

The returnees including a pregnant woman and children were received by federal government officials alongside family members.

Over N120,000 cash were given to the returnees at the point of arrival for transport fare, airtime and dignity kits.
