Music Superstar, Tiwa Savage has released her much anticipated third studio album titled “Celia” reportedly named after her mother.
Multi talented Tiwa in a post on twitter said “Celia is not just a body of work but an experience I shared with beautiful people. We lived and bonded for weeks. We laughed, cried, shared our emotions on every track. Shoutout to the men who have helped Celia be the woman that she is ❤️”

In a recent interview, she explained how growing up with R&B and the legendary Fela Kuti’s Afrobeat songs formed her identity as a woman and awakened her to the political inequalities in Nigeria.
The 12 tracks album is a fuse of Afropop and R&B. The album boasts of
collaborations with international artists Sam Smith, Davido, Stefflon Don and Naira Marley.
