Justice Samuel Oseji of the supreme court is dead, Sources at the supreme court confirmed the development to our correspondent although the cause of his death is unknown.
As a result of this development, all cases fixed for hearing on Tuesday at the court have been adjourned
Justice Oseji was appointed to the supreme court in 2020 by President Muhammad Buhari. Before his appointment to the apex bench, Justice Oseji served as a member of the presidential election petition tribunal in 2019 at the court of appeal
He hails from the Aniocha North local government of Delta state.
His death follows that of another supreme court justice, Sylvester Ngwuta who died in March.
