TEMS GENERATES REACTIONS ON SOCIAL MEDIA FOR HER DRESS AT THE OSCARS.

Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems has become the talking point on social media, following the reactions that greeted her elaborate outfit in last night’s Oscars Award.
Tems was much criticised on social media for her dress, a massive white dress that was jutting out and upward at her shoulders, which made her look like a human flower.
The actual problem was that when she sat down, her ‘fit sort of caused a big distraction both onscreen for viewers, and certainly for everyone else sitting in the rows behind her.
She was on hand for her musical work on Marvel’s ‘Wakanda Forever’ with the song ‘Lift Me Up’.
The Nigerian Musician who won a Grammy Award a few weeks ago, was nominated alongside ‘Applause’ from ‘Tell It like a Woman’ (Diane Warren), ‘Hold My Hand’ from ‘Top Gun Maverick’ (Lady Gaga and BloodPop), ‘This Is a Life’ from ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ (Ryan Lott, David Byrne and Mitski).
She lost the Oscar for Best Original Song to ‘Naatu Naatu’ from ‘RRR’, which is composed by MM Keeravani, with lyrics by Chandrabose and vocals by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava.
