President Bola Tinubu has written the Nigerian Senate, seeking the screening and confirmation of Olukoyede as Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for a term of four years.

The request is contained in a letter read during Tuesday’s plenary by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.

President Tinubu also asked the Senate to confirm Mohammed Hassan as secretary of the anti-graft agency.

President Tinubu says the nomination complies with Sections 2 and 3 of the EFCC Establishment Act 2004.
