TINUBU WRITES SENATE, SEEKS CONFIRMATION OF MUSA ADAMU AS ICPC CHAIRMAN

The Nigerian senate has received president Bola Tinubu ‘s request for the screening and confirmation of Musa Adamu Ali as chairman Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
According to president Tinubu, the nomination is in accordance with the provisions of section three sub section six, of the corrupt practices and other related offences commission, Act 2000.
He asked the lawmakers to expeditiously consider the nomination
The appointment of Saka Bolaji Suleiman and Prof. Dantata as members of the Federal Judicial Service Commission was also conveyed in the letter to the Senate President, where President Bola Tinubu sought the Senate’s confirmation.
President Tinubu more than a week ago appointed Dr. Aliyu, as the new Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
