UK/SOMALIA FOOD SUMMIT OPENS IN LONDON

British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak has opened a Global Food Security Summit in London.
The conference is a joint initiative between Britain, Somalia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as well as organizations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
As the summit began, the UN urged donors to urgently increase their aid and invest in long-term solutions to tackle what it called the root causes of hunger.
Representatives from more than 20 countries are attending the summit.
