ZAMFARA POLICE RESCUES YET ANOTHER 8 ABDUCTED VICTIMS.

The Police in Zamfara State, have secured the unconditional release of eight victims, abducted on the 25th August, at Kangon Sabuwa in Bungudu Local Government Area of the state.

A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Mohammed Shehu said that the victims who were abducted and taken to Kungurmi bandits’ Camp, were rescued safely by the Police without any financial or material gain.

The statement said that the abducted victims were medically checked by the health officials, debriefed by the Police, and reunited with their families.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Ayuba Elkana, assured the people of Zamfara State, that the Police Command in collaboration with other security agencies, will intensify different search and rescue strategies, that will lead to the unconditional rescue of other victims.

The CP called on the members of the public, to improve their cooperation and collaboration with the Police and other security agencies, to restore lasting peace and security in the state.
